It is with great enthusiasm that we announce that the Fransyl Group has completed the acquisition of Group Alcor. This new acquisition continues our mission to develop and innovate to TEAM UP with all of construction industry’s contributors, in order to face their challenges, and now, across North America.
Alcor Group, whose head office is located in Montreal, was founded in 1982 under the banner Alcor Matériaux de Toiture Inc. Having made its debut in distribution, it was in 1995 that it established itself as a manufacturer of Grizzly equipment. Since 2018, Alcor Group's partners, namely Phoenix Partners and Fonds Régionaux de Solidarité FTQ, have contributed to their strategic development, by positioning them as a leading manufacturer of high-performance equipment in the North American market, under the brands GRIZZLY and All Seasons Equipment (based in Oakville, Ont.), which they acquired in 2019.
It is therefore within the Fransyl Group that we will pursue the established strategy by offering our customers innovative roofing equipment’s and added value products. This acquisition also means that the Fransyl Group now employs more than 300 team members across Canada. On my behalf and that of the Board of Directors of the Fransyl Group, we would like to welcome each of the Group Alcor team members to our extended family.
